What People's Say About Place

We've been here a few times before for take out but decided to eat in today. We are glad we did because the sandwiches were nice and fresh. We had a Ruben & a Cuban. We found parking real, close on the street. It was a hot day so we're glad we found a table inside the people that were outside were complaining about all of the flies, but they had these cool little fans outside that they put on the tables that deterred the flies. They had freshly made desserts. But we were way too full from our sandwiches to even think about it. One day I'd like to go there just to get a piece of their peanut butter pie. They had lots of little trinkets for sale and their walls were decorated with lots of different signs and art and all kinds of unique things. I'd definitely recommend checking out this place.

Couldn't decide, either the Cuban or Reuben...? Happily, you can get half of each, pull it together with some Coleslaw and a pickle and all is good! Friendly service and attentive staff. I'll be back.

On a Sunday afternoon, we had a delightful lunch at this restaurant. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The food arrived promptly and was served at the perfect temperature. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, making it a truly enjoyable dining experience.

I really enjoyed the place. I took a ride around that area on a Sunday morning. The whole place was so much quieter after the festival. I end up getting a coffee a sandwich and the SWEET tea! Everything was perfect! It was a nice day so it was very nice to eat the food outside enjoying the old trees and the street view. The lady at front desk (the owner if my memory serves me right) was very friendly and she told me a little bit about the town and a bit of history. Looking forward for my next ride there!

We had Mojo pork with black beans and yellow rice and banana pudding. My husband loved the banana pudding and the food was delicious. So much flavor. And the prices were great too. I couldn't eat all of mine and had to get a To go box.

Best. Cuban. Ever. It was hot, the cheese and meat portions were generous, and had all the flavors (pickles, mustard) that make the Cuban so good. Also tried the cherry pie which seemed to be made from scratch (not fake, canned filling) and that was also very good. This place is so charming with plenty of retro/antique elements to look at, and there is plenty of seating outside on their beautiful deck overlooking the beautiful downtown, historic Micanopy.

What an amazing little hidden gem. Cuban coffee is amazing, key lime pie is handmade and heavenly. I’ve had their sandwiches, rice and beans and three types of pie and they have all been amazing. The outdoor patio seating is so calm and comfortable it’s truly a treat to relax and watch the clouds and nature all around.

Ordered the Cuban and it was so very scrumptious. The sandwich was a good sized portion and it also came with a pickle spear:) Actually liked it so much, I went the next day and ordered the Bootsie, which is a Cuban with added mojo pork. Everyone that works there is very nice and definitely a pleasant atmosphere to be in. Going back this weekend to try their Reuben and maybe treat myself with Key Lime Pie ;)
